MARIPOSA COUNTY – The Fox Fire, burning just south of Mormon Bar off Highway 49, is now estimated at 24 acres and is 35 percent contained, according to Incident Commander Steve Ward. About 140 personnel are currently assigned to the incident which was reported at 12:10 p.m., on Sunday, June 7, burning near Lookout Mountain Road and Foxfield Lane.
