2:27 pm Mud/Rock and dirt are being reported across the road on Hwy 140 and Briceburg.

7:06 pm The Mountain Home and Glacier school buildings will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 5, due to weather conditions. Please do not drive to the school. Students, tomorrow remains a school day so please continue to do your schoolwork from home.

6:58 pm School Cancelled for April 5, 2024. This is Robert Dias, MOT Director for Bass Lake School District informing you that on Friday, April 5th OES, OCI, Wasuma, and Fresno Flats will all be canceled due to the current and expected weather and road conditions. Thank you and have a good weekend.

6:07 PM Due to weather and road conditions, school is canceled for all Yosemite Unified schools.

4:50 pm A vehicle is stuck on Hwy 49 near Harris Rd. No injuries are involved and the roadway is clear.

4:49 pm Several vehicles are off the road on the right-hand side of Hwy 49 near Stumpfield Mountain Rd. requiring tow trucks.

Madera County

4:46 pm A traffic collision has occurred on Hwy 41 and Rd 630. 3 vehicles are involved. Injuries are unknown at this time.

Multiple vehicles are stuck in the snow and blocking the roads at the following locations:

Hwy 41  and Road 425b

Hwy 41 and Cedar Valley Rd.

Hwy 49 and Hilltop Ln.

Rd. 426 and Oak Ridge Dr.

Rd. 274 and Fawn Point Ln.

4:01 pm A traffic collision has occurred on Hwy 49 near Griffin Drive. Injuries are unknown at this time.

3:57 pm Several vehicles are stuck in the snow on Road 628 near Hwy 49. Requesting a snowplow.

Mariposa County

3:55 pm Multiple vehicles are stuck in the northbound lane of Hwy 49 near Watt Road.

Madera County

3:52 pm A vehicle has gone over the embankment partially on Hwy 41 near Cedar Valley Road. Passengers are out of the vehicle, but the vehicle is partially in the road.

3:52 pm Multiple vehicles are stuck in the road blocking traffic on Hwy 41 near Victoria Lane. Tow trucks are en route.

3:33 pm A Vehicle is blocking both lanes of traffic on Hwy 49 near Sky Vista Place.

3:27 pm Vehicles are stuck in the snow blocking the roadway on Hwy 41 and Rd 425b.

Oakhurst at 3:20 pm 4.4.2024

Mariposa County

3:15 pm A vehicle has slid off the road near East Whitlock Rd. and Hwy. 140.

3:12 pm Multiple vehicles are spun out on Hwy 49 near Mykleoaks. Units are en route to help.

Madera County

3:12 pm Hwy 41 and Road 425c there is a big rig partially blocking the road.

Mariposa County

2:36 pm Several vehicles have spun out near Hwy 49 and Hirsch Road. The vehicle is blocking one lane of traffic. There is no report of injuries and tow trucks are enroute.

2:36 pm Hwy 49 and Stumpfield Mountain Road, a vehicle has gone down the embankment. There is no report of injuries.
