MARIPOSA COUNTY – Crews are responding to reports of a wildfire just south of Highway 49 near Mormon Bar.
The fire was reported at 12:10 p.m. on Lookout Road near Foxfield Road. First engines on scene reported 10 to 15 acres with a dangerous rate of spread.
The Incident Commander immediately called for additional resources, and five more Type 3 engines were dispatched. The fire had reportedly spotted across Lookout Mountain Road.
