Evacuations Lifted For Some In Fox Fire Area

MARIPOSA COUNTY – Fire evacuations have been lifted for Foxfield Road and Daffodil Road residents, according to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office. Those living in the area were evacuated just after noon on Sunday due to the Fox Fire.

The lifting of the evacuations applies only to those on Foxfield and Daffodil. Lookout Mountain and Alamo Creek remain under an evacuation order.

Residents will need to show identification to enter the road block area.

Heavy fire suppression traffic is ongoing in the area so please drive with caution.

Red Cross volunteers have opened an evacuation center for residents affected by the Fox Fire at the New Life Christian Church, 5089 Cole Road in Boot Jack.
