School Delays

Mariposa County

Sierra Foothills Charter School

SFCS will observe a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 11th. School will start at 10:25AM, and the bus route will run exactly two-hours later than the regular morning schedule. This delay will allow county agencies to address road issues, and provide extra time for those who need to use alternate routes in the morning. Safe travels, everyone!

Mariposa County Unified School District

Good Evening MCUSD Community,

Wednesday, January 11, 2023, ALL MCUSD School Sites will observe a 2-hour late start schedule. This will allow for our county agencies to continue to address local road issues and for commuters and school buses to route around any existing detours during daylight hours, community safety as always is our first priority.

Routes on Hwy 140 will be open up to El Portal.

Jerseydale students will need to be brought via car to their closest stop on Triangle Road as buses are not being allowed on Jerseydale Road.

Please check state and local county road conditions for other closures, and contact your school site if you are unable to get your child to school.

We will update this information as we are notified.
