MOUNTAIN AREA — 2019 proved to be a solid year for home sales in eastern Madera County, according Realtor Ed Bailey of Ed Bailey Realty. Bailey compiled year-end data from California Regional MLS reports released in 2019. Here’s his rundown of mountain area home sale activity and median sales prices:

Ahwahnee — 27 homes sold, median price $343,000, average time on market 143 days, average home size 2,162 sq. ft. and average price per square foot was $170.77, Average purchase price was 96% of asking price.

Bass Lake — 36 homes sold, median price $519,500, average time on market 139 days, average sq. ft. 2,156 and average price per square foot was $328.41. Average purchase price was 93% of asking price.

Coarsegold — 154 homes sold, median price $229,450, average time on market 68 days, average sq. ft. 2,017 and average price per square foot was $162.02. Average purchase price was 98% of asking price.

North Fork — 40 homes sold, median price $288,500, average time on market 113 days, average sq. ft. 1,837 and average price per square foot was $163.40, Average purchase price was 97% of asking price.

Oakhurst — 138 homes sold, median price $314,750, average time on market 72 days, average home size 1,916 sq. ft. and average price per square foot was $176.14, Average purchase price was 97% of asking price.

Yosemite West — 3 homes sold, median price $920,000, average time on market 13 days, average home size 2,040 sq. ft. and average price per square foot was $476.70, Average purchase price was 101% of asking price.
