Free Lunch For Veterans On Tuesday At Pizza Factories

CALIFORNIA – Pizza Factories are doing something awesome as they recognize Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11 by offering veterans lunch on the house. The company says it’s their way of giving back and recognizing the military on that special day.

The offer is either a free lunch special or free lunch buffet at participating Pizza Factories, a 110-store chain of pizza restaurants with shops in Oakhurst, North Fork and Mariposa.

Pizza Factory locations in Oakhurst, Mariposa and North Fork all confirmed the complimentary meal for veterans. In Oakhurst and North Fork those who’ve served will receive a free lunch special, while the Mariposa location intends to offer the free lunch buffet.

Pizza Factory full“We appreciate everything our veterans have done for our country and want to honor their service,” says Mary Jane Riva, chief executive officer of Pizza Factory, which has stores throughout California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, and Arizona.

Veterans who either show up in military uniforms, bring military identification, or present DD Form 214s (also know as Certificates of Release or Discharge from Active Duty), will be able to participate.

“They’ve done so much to help protect our freedom and keep us safe,” adds Riva. “Now, it’s our turn to give them something in return.”
