North Fork Scouts Christmas Tree Sale

NORTH FORK – The North Fork Scout Fund’s annual Christmas Tree Sale will begin on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the North Fork Library parking lot.

Fresh, locally grown, red fir (silver tip) in a variety of sizes through at least 14 ft. will be available.

Tree sales will begin at 9 a.m. on the 6th and continue daily until sold out.

For the best selection, be sure to come and pick out your tree within the first 10 days, urges Scoutmaster Dave Smith, who has been heading up the Christmas tree project for about 40 years.

The lot, located behind the library in North Fork, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and 3:30 to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

Proceeds from the sale of trees are used to help fund all the Scouting units in North Fork, including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts. This is an important fundraiser for the Scouts, and everyone’s opportunity to support them while finding just the perfect tree for the holidays.

Scouts and their families will be staffing the tree lot during business hours, and these hard working folks, along with generous community members, helped cut the trees and haul them to the lot.

If you need more information about the sale or about Scouting, please call Dave Smith at 559-877-2186.
