OAKHURST- A Memorial Day service will be offered for the community on Monday, May 27 at 9 a.m . at the Little Church on the Hill in Oakhill Cemetery.
The non-denominational service will feature patriotic hymns by J.D. Murry and a message by Pastor Paul DePledge from Sierra Vista Church.The Avenue of Flags will line the main drive to the Little Church honoring the memory of deceased veterans.
The patriotic display is a joint effort of the American Legion, the Marine Corps League and the Veterans of Foreign Wars who display the burial flags donated by veteran families in the mountain area.
Does anyone know if there will be a Memorial Day Ceremony at Ahwahnee at the Roundhouse Cemetery this year and if so the time?
