COARSEGOLD — One-way traffic control is now in place on Highway 41, which had been temporarily closed between Yosemite Springs Parkway and Road 200, following a fatal accident this morning about a half-mile south of the Black Hawk Lodge.
Traffic is currently backed up in both directions as CHP and Caltrans work to clear the scene of the crash, which occurred just after 7:30 a.m. this morning.
Just before 8:30 a.m. one-way traffic control was put in place.
The accident is under investigation. We will update as more information becomes available.
