OAKHURST – Some Oakhurst residents who are Campora Propane customers may have briefly experienced a lack of fuel yesterday, due to an inadvertant shut-off by another utility company.

RAYMOND – After spending several hours at the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge photographing the Tule Elk and water fowl on Sunday, my husband Justin wanted to continue the fun by taking the back way home to Oakhurst through Raymond, telling me “you never know what you might see along that road, maybe we’ll see a bobcat.”

OAKHURST – Eighth graders from all over the district visited Yosemite High School (YHS) on Tuesday, Jan. 27, to get a feel for what their future high school years may be like. Their day consisted of rallies, games, and a scavenger hunt-styled tour around the campus.

MADERA COUNTY – Emadco Disposal Service has announced they plan to implement residential curbside recycling for customers beginning this summer.
