OAKHURST – Some Oakhurst residents who are Campora Propane customers may have briefly experienced a lack of fuel yesterday, due to an inadvertant shut-off by another utility company.
According to Campora’s Manager Mark Price, personnel there received notice at approximately 6:17 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, that an Oakhurst resident in was out of propane.
“This particular customer is on our gas system located next to Oakhurst Apartments,” explains Price.
Within about 30 minutes, Campora dispatched a three-man crew who determined that a gas shut-off valve had been mistakenly turned off by a local water company, and the issue was resolved by 10 p.m.
