OAKHURST – Though reports vary, information from the morning briefing at the Incident Command Post indicates that the Sky Fire is holding at about 500 acres, with 30 percent containment. Oakhurst Woman Arrested for Identity Theft

OAKHURST – On Wednesday, sheriff’s deputies arrested 36-year-old Krystal McNally and served a search warrant on her apartment on Red Bud Drive in Oakhurst. This operation was the culmination of several weeks of investigation initiated after a residential burglary in Oakhurst where checks, credit cards, photo ID, a vehicle, and power tools were stolen.

It has consumed an estimated 538 acres since yesterday when it was reported just after noon, and is currently 15 percent contained. Corrine Fire Now At 600 Acres

NORTH FORK – The Corrine Fire, that started last night at about 9:30 p.m. has now grown to over 600 acres, with 20 percent containment. Deputies are evacuating the upper half of Road 222 from Corrine Lake Road to Road 200. The entire road is now closed from North Fork to the San Joaquin River.
