Madera County Sheriff’s Local Crime Log Through Nov. 27

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016:

Oakhurst burglary
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 5:52 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 Block of SR-41 in Oakhurst regarding an alarm, that was determined to be a burglary. Report taken, evidence obtained and case pending evidence processing.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 7:51 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Road 425A regarding a report of vandalism. A report was taken, evidence obtained and case closed.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 9:25 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Oak Park Way regarding vandalism. A report was taken, evidence obtained and case closed.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of SR-41 regarding vandalism. A report was taken, evidence obtained and case closed.

Coarsegold theft
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 10:24 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 31000 block of Hogans Mountain Road in regards to a theft report. Upon arrival, the victim was contacted and a statement was obtained. The area was canvassed, however, no physical evidence was located. Case to be suspended, due to a lack of investigative leads/evidence.

Oakhurst mail theft
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 11:52 a.m. a deputy was dispatched for a call for service via phone regarding a theft of mail in Oakhurst. The theft of mail occurred on the 50000 block of Dear Meadow Way.

Coarsegold theft
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 2:10 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence in regards to a theft report. Upon arrival, the victim was contacted and a statement was obtained. There are currently no witnesses, suspect(s) or investigative leads. Case to be closed.

Coarsegold theft
SOn Monday, Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located in the 42000 block of Winchester Way in regards to a theft report. The victim reported the theft of a purse from an unlocked vehicle. There were no witnesses, suspect(s) or physical evidence. Case to be closed due to a lack of investigative leads/evidence.

Oakhurst lost wallet
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 4;55 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a call for service via phone regarding lost property. The citizen advised that she lost her wallet at a local business located near Road 426 and SR-41. A report was taken and case closed.

Oakhurst domestic restraining order violation
On Monday, Nov. 21 at 7:04 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located within the 40000 block of Road 425A, regarding a report of a violation of a domestic restraining order and a vandalism with damage estimated to be over $400. This case has been forwarded to thenMadera County DA’s Office for the filing of related charges.

Oakhurst dog bite
On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 4:12 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Yosemite Southgate Hotel, located within the 40000 block of CA-41, regarding a report of a dog bite. The incident occurred in front of the Denny’s Restaurant near the hotel. The victim did not wish to file this report although he had sustained injuries from the bite, and declined any medical attention. This case has been forwarded to the Madera County Animal Control Department for review.

North Fork public intoxication
On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 9:03 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 57000 block of Road 225 in regards to an intoxicated male subject. Upon arrival, the subject in question was located and placed under arrest for public intoxication. This case will be forwarded to the Madera County DA’s Office for charges to be filed. Oakhurst theft
On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6:16 p.m. a deputy took a telephonic report regarding the theft of a purse from the 48000 block of Victoria Lane. There were no leads in this case and it was to be closed.

Oakhurst narcotics
On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10:27 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Highway 49 regarding marijuana that was attempted to be shipped via UPS. A report was taken and evidence collected. Forward the case to detectives.

North Fork burglary
On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 12:59 a.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch call in the 5400 block of Sequoia Circle regarding a residential burglary. An investigation was conducted and it was determined that unknown suspects took the victim’s property from a motor home on the property. Case closed due to lack of investigative leads.

Bass Lake burglary
On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 1:28 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a vacation home in the 54000 block of Crane Valley in regards to a burglary. A report was taken and evidence was collected. If suspect leads develop from the evidence collected forward the case to the detectives unit.

Raymond person deceased
On Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 5:51 p.m. a deputy responded to the 35000 block of Yosemite Road for a report of a deceased person. EMS reported the call and an investigation was conducted. Cause of death was unknown, but no foul play was detected. Case was forwarded to the detective unit and the coroner’s office for review.

Coarsegold warrant arrests
On Thursday, Nov. 24 at 8:06 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Glacier Lane regarding a civil/trespass issue. Two subjects had outstanding arrest warrants. One was cited and the other was booked into jail. Close the case.

Coarsegold domestic dispute
On Thursday, Nov. 24 at 4:40 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Sioux Road in regards to a domestic dispute. A report was taken. Forward to the Madera County DA for review of possible charges.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Thursday, Nov. 24 at 5:27 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Beechwood Drive for a public health call. A protective hold was placed. The subject was transported to the hospital for evaluation by a mental health professional.

Oakhurst burglary
On Friday, Nov. 25 at 1:33 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 49000 block of Pierce Drive for a theft of medications report. A report was generated and closed, due to lack of evidentiary leads.

Oakhurst theft
On Saturday, Nov. 26 at 11:06 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to Quail Ridge Road and Road 426 for a theft call regarding stolen mail. A report was taken and forwarded to the U.S postal service.

Coarsegold threats
On Saturday, Nov. 26 at 12:19 p.m. a deputy dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in Coarsegold gold regarding a report of threats. During contact with the suspect he was found to be in possession of a meth pipe. Report taken, evidence obtained, and charges to be file with the Madera County District Attorneys Office.
