COARSEGOLD — Historic Coarsegold Village is the site of the Veterans Classic Car & Bike Show this weekend, sponsored by Caring Veterans of America. The event takes place on Saturday, July 14, from 3 – 6 p.m.
There’s a $20 entry fee for vehicles and motorcycles, and the public is welcome to visit for free. Also on tap for the day — music, food vendors, and raffles including a 50/50.
Caring Veterans of America, Inc. has monthly meetings and plans Stand Downs each year, and were instrumental in the design and installation of the veterans memorial in the Village. For more information, visit the organization online or give them a call.
Meetings are on Saturday starting July 14 at 9 a.m., as well as on the second Wednesday of each month. Both are at Denny’s Restaurant in Oakhurst. Working and younger vets are encouraged to attend, and spouses are always welcome. Call 559.760.5056.
