Update On Tree Mortality Work In Madera County Jan. 25

Written by Sarah Bolton –

MADERA COUNTY –  Hello Madera County residents and welcome to the Tree Mortality Community Column.

Our company, Blue Ridge Services (BRS), is partnering with Madera County to oversee and implement their tree mortality mitigation project.

Throughout the life of this project, we have dedicated a lot of time and energy to making sure that our workers and members of the public remain safe.

As a part of our safety efforts, we created a customized safety training program for tree mortality including videos, manuals and procedures.

One of the key team members in creating these programs is our video production specialist Trevor Merrill. He has a bachelor’s degree in film production and analysis, and he is a writer, director, editor and jack-of-all-trades. Trevor lives with his family in Merced, Calif.

Tree cutting teams have completed work on Mountain Meadow, Hillside Drive, Nelder Heights, Springwood Court, Lake Side Drive, Mudge Ranch Road, Cedar Mountain Lane, Morava Road and Blue Jay Point.

Currently, work is being done on Road 810, and next week work will begin on Blueberry Hill, Douglas, Quartz Mountain Road and Taylor Ridge Road.

If you live in any of these areas and have questions about our crews, the overall project, or tree mortality in general, please reach out to us by phone at 209-966-7777 or by emailing info@blueridgeservices.com.

For project updates, visit our dedicated webpage or our Facebook page.

We look forward to partnering with the community of Madera County to tackle this very important project.

-The BRS Team
