Two Men Stabbed In Weekend Armed Robbery

MADERA COUNTY – Two men stabbed Sunday night in an armed robbery remained hospitalized, and the search to find their assailants is underway, says the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.According to reports, two men stormed the La Raza Market, located near the southeast corner of Pecan Avenue (also known as Avenue 13) and CA-145, shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Two men working inside the store suffered stab wounds. Both were rushed to an area hospital, and their condition is unknown.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office describes the two male suspects as follows:

1. Roughly 5 feet 3 inches tall, thin build, wearing a black ski mask and black hooded sweatshirt, and shorts. He appeared to be in his mid-20’s, and was armed with a handgun.

2. Roughly 6 feet tall, heavy set, fair-skinned, bald, wearing a clown mask, brown short-sleeved t-shirt, baggy pants and white shoes. He appeared to be in his mid-30’s, and was armed with a knife.
