COARSEGOLD – District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler is hosting a Town Hall meeting tonight, Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Clubhouse in Yosemite Lakes Park from 6 to 8 p.m.
Subjects for discussion include the upcoming fire season and how you can “harden” your home to be prepared.
Roger Maybee, director of Firewise Madera County, will make a presentation, along with Cal Fire Battalion Chief Chris Christopherson.
Ashley Smith from Emadco will talk about the new curbside recycling service which will be starting up later this spring, and there will be time for questions and answers about issues of concern for mountain area residents.
The YLP Clubhouse is located at 30250 Yosemite Springs Parkway.
