MARIPOSA COUNTY – A Silver Alert has been issued in Mariposa, Merced and Stanislaus Counties for a woman missing since Friday, Nov. 22, according to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office. MOUNTAIN AREA – Firefighters have been responding over the past few weeks to reports of smoke which turned out to be burn piles lit off by residents. These burn piles are illegal, as fire restrictions have not been lifted for any elevations in Madera and Mariposa Counties, or any areas in the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.

Man Arrested For Meth In Coarsegold

COARSEGOLD – A Mariposa man remains behind bars facing felony drug charges following his arrest early Thursday morning in Coarsegold.
