Fresno Man Arrested At Mariposa Pot Grow

MARIPOSA – On Saturday, Oct. 12, Mariposa County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant on Burl Drive during a marijuana investigation.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, approximately 175 pounds of processed marijuana was located at the garden site.

Two residents of Fresno were found tending to the garden. The growers claimed that the marijuana was for medical use for two card holders.

Khamleth MekkhavongThe Sheriff’s Office says one adult man, Khamleth Mekkhavong, 63, was arrested on site and booked into the Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility for violation of cultivation of marijuana.

His bail was set at $100,000.
