OAKHURST – A brazen vehicle break-in this morning caught the attention of Oakhurst citizens and business owners near the Best Western Inn, located on Highway 41 in Oakhurst.
Shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, a suspect described as a white male, possibly in his 20s, wearing two-toned camouflage shorts and a black sweatshirt, smashed the window of vehicle and then took off running, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
Despite an exhaustive foot search through the Oakhurst community, the suspect still managed to slip away.
