Supervisor Farinelli Holds Public Safety Meeting

Supervisor Farinelli to hold community meeting on Public Safety
Representatives from public safety community to discuss gang and drug prevention

Madera, Calif. – Madera County Supervisor Rick Farinelli will host a community meeting to discuss public safety and gang prevention in Madera County. The meeting has been scheduled to take place on Monday, June 23rd, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Madera VFW Hall, Post#1981 at 2026 N. Granada Drive.

Representatives from the Madera Sheriff’s Department, Probation, Police and Fire will give a brief presentation on the services they have available to city and county residents as well as their efforts to thwart gang and drug activity. Victory Outreach and members of the Gang Intervention Task Force will also be available for questions and answers related to their programs. Supervisor Farinelli hopes to gain a greater understanding of the unique issues of the various neighborhoods, and help make residents aware of the programs available to them. The public is encouraged to share their concerns and provide input on all of law enforcements efforts to prevent and suppress local gang and drug activity.
