Supervisor Farinelli Holds Public Safety Meeting

MADERA – Madera County District 3 Supervisor Rick Farinelli will host a community meeting to discuss public safety and gang prevention in Madera County.

The meeting has been scheduled for Monday, June 23, at 6 p.m. at the Madera VFW Hall Post #1981 at 2026 N. Granada Drive in Madera.

Representatives from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, Probation, Police and Fire will give a brief presentation on the services they have available to city and county residents, as well as their efforts to thwart gang and drug activity.

Victory Outreach and members of the Gang Intervention Task Force will also be available for questions and answers related to their programs.

Supervisor Farinelli says he hopes to gain a greater understanding of the unique issues of the various neighborhoods, and help make residents aware of the programs available to them.

The public is encouraged to share their concerns and provide input on all of law enforcements efforts to prevent and suppress local gang and drug activity.
