State FFA Organization Offers Free ‘Ag’ License Plates

SACRAMENTO — The California Future Farmers of America (FFA) state-wide organization is giving away 500 free California Ag license plates to the first 500 individual who submit completed applications.

Those applying must complete the so called Reg. 17 application, which is available online from the DMV under Special Interest License Plates.

Only completed applications will be accepted for a sequential California Agriculture (CalAg) plate. (Applications for personalized or other special interest plates will be shredded.)

Only the first 500 applications will be funded. Any extra applications will be returned.

Once the application is complete, print and mail the application to the California FFA at P.O. Box 460, Galt, CA 95632.

The California FFA is only covering the actual cost of the license plates, not vehicle registration.

Once 500 completed application are reached, they will be forwarded to the DMV with payment. Plate owners are responsible for annual renewal fees.
