OAKHURST — As always, the health and safety of our club members as well as the community is our top priority so we will be postponing our Soroptimist Soup and Salad Luncheon Event on March 19, 2020 to May 21, 2020.
We will be honoring all event tickets sales for the new date. Thank you so much for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you May 21, 2020.
Mark your calendars for the Spring Soroptimist Soup & Salad Luncheon, which is being held Thursday, March 19, 2020.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Oakhurst Community Center and everyone is welcome.
The luncheon is a major fundraiser for the organization, with proceeds benefiting various Soroptimist community projects throughout the year including local scholarships for high school and college students.

There will be a green salad bar set up with fresh delicious toppings plus various homemade pasta/potato/veggie salads and two delicious soups, bread, iced tea or coffee and their famous homemade lemon cake for dessert.
Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased from any Soroptimist member or online at https://2020SpringSoroptimist.eventbrite.com.
Take-out is also offered and may be picked up at the Oakhurst Community Center.
There will be over 60 raffle items that have been generously donated by individuals and businesses in the community! Again this year they will be having an “Easter Basket – Balloon Pop Raffle” available first come, first serve, and will give everyone a chance to take home a raffle prize instantly!!
Each Balloon Pop is $25 and will have a gift items of over $25 or more, some baskets will be over $100.
The regular raffle will begin promptly at 1 p.m., although you do not need to be present to win, but be sure to register your ticket numbers before you leave the event.
Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
