Sheriff’s Crime Log Through Dec. 3

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Nov. 27  to Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 12:43 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a confidential location regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and the deputy found that a physical assault had occurred. T suspect was gone when the deputy arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital. A Probable Cause Declaration was completed and charges are filed with the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.

Oakhurst illegal weapons
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 7:52 a.m. a vehicle check in Oakhurst led to the arrest of an adult male for illegal weapons possession and probation violation. Subject booked.

North Fork found marijuana
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 7:42 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 222 regarding found marijuana. Report written and case closed.

Oakhurst assault
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 10:45 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Junction Drive regarding a female who was assaulted. A report was taken, a subject arrested and case forwarded to the Madera County District Attorneys Office.

Oakhurst abandoned vehicle impounded
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 11:21 a.m. a deputy located an abandoned vehicle with expired tags at the 40000 block of Junction Drive. A report was taken and the vehicle was impounded.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 12:28 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of Highway 41 just north of Road 208 regarding a subject who wanted to harm himself. The subject was detained for mental health evaluation and a report was written.

Oakhurst burglary to storage building
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 1:22 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Road 425A, due to a report that a storage building was broken into over the weekend. Statements were collected, photos were taken and a report was written.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 12:59 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Vista Heights regarding vandalism. A report taken, evidence obtained and case closed.

Coarsegold possible sex offense
On Monday, Nov. 27 at 9:07 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a possible sex offense that occurred approximately eight years ago. The reporting party was contacted and a statement was obtained. Report was written and forwarded to detectives for follow-up.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Tuesday, Nov. 28 at midnight. a deputy responded to a dispatch call at a commercial business in the 46000 block of Highway 41 regarding a vandalism. An investigation was conducted and report written. Case closed due to lack of investigative leads.

Oakhurst theft
On Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 1:12 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Vista Heights Lane regarding a theft. An investigation was conducted and report written. Case closed due to lack of investigative leads.

Bass Lake theft
On Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 2:49 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation to take a theft report that occurred in the 41000 block of Road 222 on Nov. 24. The case is to remain opened pending further leads.

Oakhurst warrant arrest
On Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 3:32 p.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch call in the 50000 block of Road 426 regarding a battery. Upon a wants and warrants check on several individuals, one male was taken into custody on out of area misdemeanor warrant.

Coarsegold theft
On Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 5:22 p.m. deputies took a theft report that occurred in the area of the 31000 block of Sioux Road. At this time the suspect are unknown. This report was closed until further investigative leads arise.

Oakhurst Coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 11:29 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of River Park Road regarding an unresponsive subject. EMS responded and attempted to revive the subject without success. Subject was declared deceased at the scene. Next of kin was notified.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7:46 a.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch call at a business in the 40000 block of Highway 41 regarding a female pushing tables and being rude to customers. Contact was made with the female and determined she was a danger to herself and other people. A mental health evaluation hold was placed on the female.

Oakhurst embezzlement
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7:46 a.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch call in the 40000 block of Highway 41 regarding an embezzlement from a business. An investigation was conducted and report written. Case closed due to lack of suspect identification.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 10:29 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Pine Ridge Road regarding vandalism to an RV. Case should be closed at this time due to lack of leads.

Oakhurst theft
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 11:38 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to 40000 block of Enterprise Drive in regards to the theft of tools from a service truck. A report was taken and completed.

Oakhurst theft
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 12:49 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a theft that occurred in the area of Road 620 and Highway 41. Case should be closed at this time due to lack of leads.

Ahwahnee theft of prescription medication
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 1:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to take a report over the phone regarding a theft of prescription medication that on occurred on Oct. 27 in the 47000 block of Miami Highlands Court. Case should be closed at this time due to lack of leads.

Coarsegold identification theft
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 2:20 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to 47000 block of Klamath Avenue in regards to fraudulent use of personal information. A report was taken and an identification theft affidavit packet was completed.

Oakhurst theft
On Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 9:21 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Victoria Court regarding a theft. Report was written and case was closed due to lack of investigative leads.

Coarsegold Coroner’s report
On Thursday, Nov. 30 at 9:29 a.m. a deputy responded to the 46000 block of road 417 regarding a Coroner’s report. Next of kin was on scene. Refer to Chief Deputy Coroner for review.

Coarsegold suspected narcotics
On Thursday, Nov. 30 at 3:06 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a employee that found suspected narcotics. The item was booked for destruction.

Oakhurst domestic violence
On Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a domestic altercation. Report written, evidence obtained, and charges filed with the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Sunday, Dec. 3 at 12:11 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to 40000 block of CA-41 due to a report of an individual urinating in the parking lot. Statements were collected, injuries were discovered and an ambulance was dispatched. A 72 hour hold was placed on the subject and he was transported to the Madera Community Hospital for evaluation and medical care. A report was written.

Coarsegold juvenile call
On Sunday, Dec. 3 at 1:27 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Road 416 regarding a juvenile call. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and a report was taken for documentation. Case closed.

Oakhurst warrant arrest
On Sunday, Dec. 3 at 11:42 p.m. a deputy was patrolling in area of Road 426 and Road 425B when a male subject was contacted behind a closed business. The male subject was found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Madera County. He was arrested, cited and released on scene for the warrant. Case closed by arrest.
