MARIPOSA – Mariposa County Sheriff Doug Binnewies has issued an alert for a young woman missing in Mariposa since Sunday, Apr. 13.
Kaiwi Murdock, 16, is described as 5′ 11″, 230 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, identified as a Pacific Islander.
She has been missing since Apr. 13 about 8 p.m. when she reportedly ran away from home in Mariposa.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that Kaiwi may be near T Street and 20th Street in Merced, Calif., based on cell phone tracking on Apr. 17 at 2:31 p.m. She is said to have ties to the Sacramento area as well.
