MADERA COUNTY — Ready for a little more love in your life? The Madera County Animal Shelter is having its annual kitten and cat special during the month of August, so you still have time to stop by.
Qualified persons may adopt any kitten or cat for only $35, and that includes the spay or neutering, all up-to-date shots, de-worming, and even a complimentary microchip.
The shelter has lots of adorable kittens and cats on hand to choose from, and asks that people “please help save a life and adopt a shelter kitten or cat.”
The Madera County Animal Shelter is located at 14269 Road 28, in north Madera. Shelter adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., . The shelter is closed on Sundays. The special is scheduled to end September 1st.
