OAKHURST — Yosemite High School is gearing up for Junior/Senior Prom 2019 and organizers are hoping the community can take a collective look in its closets to see if anything is suitable for students to wear. Prom clothes are expensive, as are senior years in public schools.

With expenses varying from the cost of school trips, to special tests, and preparing for life after high school — not everyone can financially afford to indulge themselves for every activity.

Prom will be held on April 27, and some students are in need of formal attire so they may participate in this festive, once-in-a-lifetime event.

Please donate gently worn formal attire for both young men and young women to YHS in care of Angel’s Closet, the school’s on-campus boutique for students in need.

“We appreciate all of your support and donations this prom season,” say those behind the scenes.

If you are able to donate fresh corsages or boutonnieres, the school says there are many students who would benefit from these types of donations, as well.
