NORTH FORK – The School Fire, burning on the northeast corner of the intersection at Roads 274 and 225, is now 90 percent contained.
The fire was reported at 5:24 p.m. yesterday afternoon and firefighters had stopped the forward progress by 6:47 p.m at just over 12 acres.
No structures were lost or damaged, and no injuries reported.
The fire is now in patrol status.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
