MADERA COUNTY — Caltrans is advising commuters of one-way traffic control on State Route 41 this week, between Avenue 15 and State Route 145, for grinding and paving work.
The following day-time one-way traffic control will be in effect, weather permitting:
- On Tuesday June 26 and Wednesday June 27, segments of State Route 41 between Avenue 15 and State Route 145 in Madera County will be reduced to one-way traffic between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day.
Delays of up to 15 minutes are possible, Caltrans says. Closures may continue for longer periods of time if necessary, due to delays caused by high traffic volumes or uncontrollable events that may occur during roadway operations. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area during project work hours and use alternate routes if possible.
Maintenance Crews will be conducting one way traffic control during this time with the use of flagging personnel through the work zone. Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel and pay close attention to road maintenance vehicles and personnel.
