NORTH FORK – A North Fork resident charged with child molestation appeared in Madera County Superior Court on Friday, Mar. 14, for a preliminary hearing on the charges.
Edward Lyons, 85, was arrested on Feb. 28, and appeared before Judge Dale Blea yesterday as prosecutors presented the evidence against him.
At the conclusion of the hearing, Lyons was held to answer on 9 counts of unlawful sexual contact, and will be arraigned on the charges on Apr. 4.
He remains behind bars on a $900,000 bond.
