According to documents at the Planning Department, Amrut Construction and Development of Pleasanton, Ca, has applied for permits to build a 180-room Holiday Inn Express.
A phone call to the person whose name is on the application resulted only in a reluctance to comment at this time because everything is still in the works, and the permits have not yet been approved. The contact said that more information will be available in a few weeks, and that the grading work being done right now is being handled by another company.
The permit application is under review, according to the Planning Department.
