MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES — All Yosemite Unified schools except Rivergold Elementary School will be closed Monday, March 6, 2023, due to weather-related hazardous conditions.
The District Office/Departments will be open.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning through Monday morning for our area. Hopefully, we will be able to open all schools on Tuesday.
From now until the end of the school year, attendance will be of the utmost importance as students have missed multiple days of instruction and learning time. In the meantime, please remain safe, and check on your neighbors and loved ones if you are able, as many in our YUSD community are still recovering from the previous storm.
We look forward to having all of our students back to school on Tuesday.
[BLJUESD] School will be canceled on Monday, March 6th for OES, OCI, Wasuma, and Fresno Flats due to the new snow accumulations, unreachable bus stops, power outages, and campus safety issues. We hope to return in session on Tuesday.

Monday, March 6th, 2023, all MCUSD school sites will observe a Snow Day.
This decision has been made as the Governor has proclaimed a State of Emergency for Mariposa County and the National Weather Service issued Winter Storm Warning ends Monday, March 6th.
This latest storm comes as many families are still recovering from last week’s winter storm.
