‘Miss Debbie’ Retires after 25 Years at Oak Creek Intermediate School

OAKHURST –Miss Debbie has been a cook for 25 great years here at Oak Creek Intermediate. Unfortunately, this year she will be retiring.

Miss Debbie loves being a cook at OCI and working with kids this age. She grew up in North Fork and attended Sierra High School.

When Miss Debbie was younger, her parents owned a restaurant and at the age of 11 she learned to cook helping her parents.

Besides being a cook, Miss Debbie had an office job when her kids were younger.

Miss Debbie is married and has two children, a boy and a girl, who are both grown up now and have kids of their own.

Miss Debbie has always loved her job and she loves being involved with kids.
