Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through Mar. 31

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Mar. 25 to Sunday, Mar. 31, 2019.

O’Neals report of possible scam
On Tuesday, Mar. 26 at 9:23 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 51000 Block of Road 210 in regards to a report of a possible scam. Case closed due to a lack of suspect(s) or investigative leads.

Coarsegold found bike
On Wednesday, Mar. 27 at 1:47 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of Road 415 and Jennifer Lane regarding a found bicycle in the road. The reporting party moved it out of the road and set it to the side for a Deputy to retrieve. The bicycle was booked for safe keeping.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Wednesday, Mar. 27 at 6:43 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of Cedar Springs Road for a coroner’s report. A report was written and forwarded to Madera County Chief Coroners Division for review.

Coarsegold possible violation of court order
On Thursday, Mar. 28 at 9:50 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of Ranger Circle in regards to a possible violation of a court order. A report was taken for documentation.

Ahwahnee burglary
On Thursday, Mar. 28 at 3:14 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 41000 block of Road 600 regarding several yard tools stolen from a utility truck. Pictures of the suspect shoe and tire tracks were obtained. Case to be pending follow up.

Coarsegold narcotics
On Thursday, Mar. 28 at 8:35 p.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotics. A report was taken.

Oakhurst motor vehicle stop
On Thursday, Mar. 28 at 10:44 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Royal Oaks Drive and Highway 41 on a vehicle that failed to stop at several stop signs. The male driver was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant and for misdemeanor vehicle code violations and booked into the Madera County DOC.

Oakhurst theft
On Friday, Mar. 29 at 10:42 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 44000 block of Lake Side Drive regarding theft of items from a moving company. The victim requested a report for documentation. Refer report closed.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Friday, Mar. 29 at 9:51 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 35000 block of Highway 41 regarding a subject harassing customers at a business. The subject was located and placed in custody on a parole warrant. The subject was turned over to state parole for booking. Case to be closed.

Coarsegold mental health evaluation hold
On Friday, Mar. 29 at 1:20 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a report of controlled substance found in one of the rooms. The subjects who occupied the room were still on scene. One of the subjects was placed on a mental health evaluation hold for being gravely disabled due to an overdose. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst motor vehicle stop
On Friday, Mar. 29 at 8:37 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 41 and Highway 49 on a vehicle that had an obstructed license plate. The female driver was arrested and given a citation for driving without a license and the male passenger was arrested and issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia

Oakhurst narcotics and felony probation violation
On Saturday, Mar. 30 at 12:15 a.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 41 and Highway 49 on a vehicle that had expired registration and no license plate light. The male driver was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC for felony probation violation and drug related offences.

Coarsegold theft
On Saturday, Mar. 30 at 1:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Crystal Springs Way in regards to a theft investigation. A report was taken for documentation. Case to be suspended, due to a lack of investigative leads and evidence.
