Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through Mar. 17

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Mar. 11 to Sunday, Mar. 17, 2019.

Coarsegold civil dispute
On Monday, Mar. 11 at 8:04 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 417 in regards to a civil dispute involving a private security company and tribal members. A report was taken for documentation.

North Fork residential burglary
On Tuesday, Mar. 12 at 4:44 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 56000 block of Manzanita Lake Drive regarding a burglary, where the suspects forced entry and stole several items from the residence.

Oakhurst juvenile danger to self
On Tuesday, Mar. 12 at 3:36 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a juvenile who intentionally injured herself and took prescription medications. The juvenile was later transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Coarsegold coroner’s report
On Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 2:52 p.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case that occurred at the 36000 block of Wells Road. The primary physician is stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death as a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

Coarsegold public intoxication
On Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 11:59 p.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding an intoxicated subject causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the establishment. The subject was contacted and found to be intoxicated to the point he could not intelligently care for his safety or the safety of others. The subject was arrested and transported to the Madera Department of Corrections for processing.

North Fork vandalism and emergency protection order
On Thursday, Mar. 14 at 1:37 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 33000 block of Church Street for a report of a male who broke a window to a residence and was attempting to get into the residence. The female victim inside the residence stated that the male was her daughter’s biological father. The female stated that she was scared and was in fear of him and an EPO was later granted by the Madera County on call judge. A vandalism report was written due to a window being broke on the residence.

Oakhurst embezzlement
On Thursday, Mar. 14 at 8:29 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 41000 block of CA-41 regarding an embezzled U-Haul truck that was not returned to the business. The reporting party requested that charges be filed.

Coarsegold coroner’s report
On Thursday, Mar. 14 at 8:57 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Glacier Drive regarding a coroner’s report. Report to be forwarded to the Chief Deputy Coroner.

Bass Lake danger to self
On Thursday, Mar. 14 at 1:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a subject who took pills to commit suicide. The subject was placed on a mental health evaluation hold.

Oakhurst narcotics
On Thursday, Mar. 14 at 9:56 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic enforcement stop on subject who was riding his bicycle in the 40000 block of CA-41 for no front or rear lights mounted on his bicycle. The male subject was found to be under the influence of alcohol and methamphetamines and was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Friday, Mar. 15 at 12:11 a.m. a warrant service was conducted on the 35000 block of McCallister Road. The subject was located, arrested and booked on a $120,000 felony warrant out of Fresno County.

Oakhurst burglary
On Friday, Mar. 15 at 8:10 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of Shady Lane regarding an in-progress burglary. The deputy reported that the suspect had just been seen running from the residence. The area was searched and the suspect was eventually located behind another residence and matched the description provided. The suspect was booked at the Madera County Jail on felony charges. Report be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Oakhurst failure to register as a sex offender
On Friday, Mar. 15 at 5:21 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a family disturbance. A male subject was found to be non compliant with
his requirement to register as a sex offender and was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC on felony charges.

Ahwahnee search and rescue, subject located
On Sunday, Mar. 17 at 2:08p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a search and rescue. The lost subject was located after a brief
search. Report taken for documentation only.
