Madera County Sheriff’s Local Crime Log Through Nov. 13

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016:

Oakhurst court order violation arrest
On Monday, Nov. 7, at 12:26 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 45000 block of Lauri Lane regarding a violation of a court order. Upon arrival the restrained person was located and taken into custody. Report completed and sent to the District Attorney’s Office.

Coarsegold social services report
On Monday, Nov. 7, at 11:02 a.m. a student, 8, advised a school employee that her mother was out of town and she didn’t like how the baby sitter was taking care of them at a residence possibly in the 31000 block of Blackfoot Road. The school resource deputy talked to the student and later did a home visit. The deputy called the child’s mother and was advised she would return home the next day. The four children stayed with their aunt for the evening, with the permission of the mother. Social Services (CPS) later contacted the mother and did follow-up on this case. This report will be forwarded to Social Services.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Monday, Nov. 7, at 12:26 a.m. 10:22 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Cherokee Road for a report of a male stating he was feeling suicidal. The male was later placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to Madera Community Hospital.

Oakhurst juvenile disturbance
On Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. a school assistant principal, at a campus located at the 50000 block of Road 427, advised the school resource deputy that a student set off a firecracker on campus during school. The student was interviewed and taken home. Charges will be forwarded to Juvenile Probation for the violation. The  in Oakhurst.

Coarsegold coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 11:55 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a coroner’s referral number.

Coarsegold suspicious incident
On Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 5:28 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located within the 47000 block of Oneida Avenue regarding a reportedly suspicious incident. This case was written for documentation only and has been closed.

Oakhurst found property
On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 11:03 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive for found property. The property was returned to the rightful owner. Close the case.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 12:40 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a subject who was possibly in need of a mental health evaluation hold. One adult male was placed on a mental health hold and was transported to a hospital by ambulance for a mental health evaluation. Case to be closed.

Coarsegold minor danger to self
On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at about 2 p.m. a behavior intervention specialist contacted the school resource deputy to report a student had made threats to hurt herself when she went home. The student was contacted and evaluated by the school resource deputy and was deemed not a threat to hurt herself, and her mother was called to the school. A safety plan was drafted with the student and parent. The student was turned over to her mother.

Oakhurst theft
On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 3:22 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of Coma Court in regards to an attempted theft of a travel trailer. A report was taken and evidence collected. Close the case at this time.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 3:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Beechwood Drive for a public health call. A mental health evaluation hold was placed. The subject was transported for treatment. Close the case.

Coarsegold misdemeanor warrants
On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 10:23 a.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop at Road 417 and Big Sandy Drive regarding expired tags. The driver had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. She was cited and released at the scene. Refer report closed.

North Fork danger to self
On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 10:32 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 59000 block of S. Cascadel Drive for a public health call. The subject was deemed to be a danger to himself and a protective hold was placed and transported to the hospital for treatment. Close the case.

Raymond danger to self
On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11:40 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located at the block of 33000 Road 613 regarding a subject who had been drinking and refused to leave. Upon further investigation the female had cut her arm and grabbed her father and it was noted that she had previous mental health issues. She was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to MCH.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 4:35 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 36000 block of Wells Road for a family member who was attempting to assault other family members. Upon arrival, the subject was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and he was transported to Madera Community Hospital.

North Fork assault
On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 8:47 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 56000 block of Horn Road for a report of an assault. A case was generated for future reference and the case was closed.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11:54 p.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of a subject on the property with a warrant out for their arrest. The subject was contacted and a warrant was confirmed. Subject also was in possession of narcotics. He was arrested and booked into DOC with charges filed with the DA’s office.

Coarsegold vandalism
On Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Yosemite Springs Parkway in regards to vandalism. A report was taken for documentation purposes only.

O’Neals vandalism
On Friday, Nov. 11 at 12:20 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of Road 200 in regards to a vandalism. A report was taken. Close the case due to lack of investigative leads.

Oakhurst warrant citation
On Friday, Nov. 11 at 2:34 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle in the area of SR-41 and Royal Oaks Drive in regards to vehicle code violations. It was discovered that the driver had an outstanding arrest warrant. The subject was cited out on the warrant.

Coarsegold warrant citation
On Friday, Nov. 11 at 11:42 p.m. deputies responded to the 47000 block of Navajo Avenue for a report of a suspicious person. Deputies arrived on scene and located a male subject who was eventually placed in custody and cited and released.

North Fork gas theft
On Saturday, Nov. 12 at 6:31 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block 32000 Weatherly Lane regarding attempt theft of gasoline. The victim requested a report for documentation. Refer report closed.

Oakhurst narcotics
On Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11:05 a.m. a deputy contacted a subject whom he knew to be on active Madera County Adult Probation while in the area of SR-41 and Golden Oak Loop. The subject was cited on drug related charges. Forward the case to the Madera County DA and Madera County Probation.

Oakhurst burglary
On Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11:22 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 38000 block of Golden Ball Drive regarding a burglary to a detached garage. A report taken. Close the case due to lack of investigative leads.

Coarsegold found wallet
On Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2:37 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation regarding a subject who wanted to turn in a lost wallet. The owner was not located and a report was taken. Refer report closed.

Coarsegold public intoxication
On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 12:41 a.m. a deputy responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of an intoxicated person. The deputy contacted the subject who was found to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for herself. The subject was arrested and transported to DOC.

Oakhurst theft
On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 2:55 p.m. a deputy responded to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding the report of a theft. The reporting party advised her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. During the investigation no suspects were identified. This case it to be closed.
