Madera County in Purple Tier After Stay-at-Home Order Lifted

MADERA – The San Joaquin Valley Regional stay-at-home order has been lifted effective today, 1/25/2021. Read the full press release from CDPH here. Madera County has returned back to the purple tier. In this tier, many indoor business operations remain closed. Effective immediately in Madera County –

  • Personal services may resume (including hair salons, barbershops, massage services, and nail salons)
  • Outdoor dining may resume
  • Indoor retail may operate at 25% capacity

While regional capacity has increased, local ICU capacity remains low. It is important for everyone to continue to do their part:

  • Limit gatherings
  • Socially distance
  • Wear a mask
  • Wash hands
  • Stay home and isolate yourself if you have symptoms
  • Get tested regularly if you have been around others.
