Ethos Youth Center and Social Impact Project is partnership with local businesses leaders, community members and the Ethos youth. By bridging intergenerational gaps, the Social Impact Project promotes respect and collaborative partnerships between adults and youth in our community.
The Social Impact Project is the a youth led social entrepreneurship program. Social entrepreneurship utilizes business techniques to find solutions to social problems. As a community to we recognize the need for more jobs, skill-set development and positive engagement for Mariposa’s youth people. The Social Impact Project utilizes the social entrepreneurship business model by promoting healthy youth development and by offering an opportunity for young people to become invested in something they can be proud of.
Through the Social Impact Project, youth will build life & job skills, avoid risky behavior, collaborate with other youth and community members, build self-esteem and express themselves. The Social Impact project supports entrepreneurial behavior as young people pioneer innovative ideas and bring them to life all while providing local businesses and community members with an opportunity to purchase screen printed T-shirts with their own original graphic design created by Mariposa County Youth.
