Kids' Carnival Benefits Boys & Girls Club

OAKHURST – The Kurtis for Mayor Campaign will host a Kids’ Carnival full of old-fashioned family fun at the Oakhurst Community Park from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

“We are very excited about this event and extremely happy to be supporting our candidate with a family-friendly event,” say organizers. “This is going to be awesome!”

With a 13′ bounce house, an 18′ inflatable slide, “tattoo” booth, dunk tank, cake walk and loads of games, the carnival is expected to draw kids and families from all around the mountain area.

BGC supporters are also seeking participation from the community in the form of donations and volunteers.

One $20 credit per member will be applied to the BGC monthly membership of those children whose families volunteer to help with the event or setup. Kids age 9 and up are invited to assist, with an accompanying adult.
