OAKHURST – Salt and Light Ministries invite you to meet an inspirational speak and author who is coming to the Oakhurst area to share her message.
Born without complete legs and hand, Judy Squier is a wife, mother of three and grandmother of five who started public speaking at the age of thirteen. She is the author of three books, and speaks at venues around the world.
Judy offers an encouraging message of victory over life’s challenges, and has a passion to help others find “God’s gold” in the rubble of their lives, inspiring journaling and the writing of your own story.
Judy will be available for a book signing following her talks.
The first is scheduled for Friday, July 10, at 4 p.m. at the Oakhurst Library, 49044 Civic Circle Drive in Oakhurst.
She will also be speaking on Saturday, July 11, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Oakhurst Community Park. Judy is the speaker for “Walk for Life,” which begins at 8:30 a.m. This is a fundraiser for Helping Hands.
On Sunday, July 12, at both the 9 and 11 a.m. services, Judy will be sharing her story in Coarsegold at Yosemite Lakes Community Church, 43843 Patrick Avenue in YLP.
“Judy has a unique ability to connect with every human being through our common need to overcome struggles,” say organizers. “Her messages model authentic hope as she recaps tales of a daily life in relationship with a down-to-earth God who wants us to dream big. She will help you see God’s fingerprints in the story of your life and inspire you to be intentional about the legacy you are leaving.”
