Join Yosemite Audubon For Bird Walk At Ahwahnee Hills Park

AHWAHNEE – The Yosemite Area Audubon Association (YAAS) is sponsoring a birding walk on Saturday, Apr. 13, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Ahwahnee Hills Regional Park.

Some of the birds we may encounter are western blue birds, phoebes, kingbirds, red winged blackbirds, killdeers, ruby crowned kinglets, nuthatches, finches, creepers, towhees, sparrows, titmice, wild turkeys, quail, jays, woodpeckers, juncos, buffleheads, goldeneyes, ruddy ducks, ring-necked ducks, widgeons, mallards, Canada geese, hawks, owls and possibly the bald eagle.

Meet at 8 a.m. at the main parking area by the master building at Ahwahnee Hills Regional Park.

Please bring water, your binoculars, and a pair of sharp eyes!

As usual, all Audubon programs are free and open to the general public.
