NORTH FORK – The Sierra Vista Scenic Byway Association Summer Tour series continues on Saturday, July 26 with the Willow Creek Tour.
Join Marcia Freedman, author of “Willow Creek History” as she shares some of the history of the Willow Creek area. Take a short walk to Chilcoot Lake and then hike down to the confluence of Chilcoot Creek and Willow Creek. It promises to be an adventure.
There will be moderate hiking, and everyone is encouraged to bring swimming gear for a dip in the creek. Bring a lunch or stop at Jones Store on the way down the hill. Drinks will be provided by the Scenic Byway Association.
Participants will meet on Saturday, July 26, at 9 a.m. at the Bass Lake Post Office parking lot.
