Twenty guitarists and ten bass players from across the United States will be performing in a jazz guitar concert on Thursday, June 28, from 7:00-9:30pm. The event will be held at the Queens Inn Wine & Beer Garden, located at 41193 Highway 41 in Oakhurst, Ca. Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased at the door. Beverages are available at a no host bar and dessert will be served. All proceeds will benefit the Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce.
All of these musicians are participating in an annual five day Yosemite Jazz Workshop June 24-29, at Evergreen Conference Center in Oakhurst. The workshop is hosted by local jazz guitarist Rich Severson and sponsored by GuitarCollege.com. Featured instructor/ musicians include Rich Severson (photo), Todd Johnson from Phoenix, Barry Zweig from Los Angeles , Mike Dana and Gary Newmark both from Fresno along with the other participants.
