OAKHURST – Back by popular demand, cellular wizard Jerry Ward will hold an instructional class for Android cell phone users on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Community Room at Oakhurst Branch Library.
Jerry is the Cellular Sales Supervisor with Sierra Tel Business Center. He shares his knowledge with the group on topics including basic cell phone navigation features, basic phone functions, connecting to the internet, the settings menu, voice commands, entering contacts, texting and emails. He will demonstrate how to personalize Androids and how to download and use special applications.
“This is a great opportunity to learn all about these useful devices,” say organizers. Jerry wants to prepare hand-outs for the devices attendees use, so he’s requesting pre-registration.
