MADERA COUNTY – Looking for a little inspiration for your garden?
The Madera County Master Gardeners are now selling tickets for the 9th Annual Glorious Garden Tour set for Saturday, Apr. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., showcasing four local glorious gardens and raising funds to benefit the Three Sisters Demonstration Garden and other Madera County Master Gardener projects.
Gardens featured include a low-water landscape with an artificial turf putting green and a sandtrap that doubles as a holding pond for rainwater captured from the roof. There’s also a charming Children’s Garden with games, a pirate ship playhouse, and a working trolley. Patriots will love the red, white, and blue garden that incorporates vegetables and fruit trees, and all will enjoy relaxing in the peaceful garden with lots of shade and container plants, as well.
Those taking the Glorious Garden Tour can also visit the Three Sisters Demonstration Garden at Madera Center Community College as part of the package, and take advantage of a special plant sale at the Garden Shoppe.
Tickets are $15 each in advance and $20 on the day of the Tour. Discounted advance tickets are available at select locations. For a list, visit the Glorious Garden Tour page. On the day of the Tour, $20 tickets will be available from any garden on the Tour, or from the Master Gardener’s Garden Shoppe at the Three Sisters Demonstration Garden at Madera Community College Center located at 30277 Avenue 12, Madera, CA.
