Free Workshop For Home Gardeners

MADERA – Madera County Master Gardeners will host a free workshop on water conservation techniques for home gardeners and plant lovers in August.

You can have a beautiful garden and landscape despite drought and water restrictions.

Learn water conservation techniques at the “Native and Drought-Tolerant Landscaping Workshop” hosted by the Madera Master Gardeners on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Madera Community College Center – Room 3A, 30277 Avenue 12, Madera. There is no charge for this event and no reservations are necessary.

  1. I REALLY love this and am wanting to give it a try. My only question is…. don’t the deer bother it? We have several on our property everyday and I can just picture them chomping this beautiful stuff up before it even grows an inch! How do you keep them away from yours?
