An Evacuation Warning has been issued for ROAD 600 BETWEEN ROAD 415 AND ROAD 812, ALL SPURS ALSO due to FIRE. There is a potential threat to life and property. Monitor the situation and be prepared to take action immediately. Don’t wait for an evacuation order to leave if you feel threatened. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now. If you’re in need of evacuation assistance, call (559) 675-7770. If it is an emergency, call 9 1 1.

There is an immediate threat to life. This is an evacuation order to leave now. The area is being closed to public access. Take action immediately. If you’re in need of evacuation assistance, call 9 1 1.

NORTH FORK –  50-60 acre fire near Raymond/Bootjack, dubbed the River Fire, is moving toward Chowchilla drainage. The fire is fast moving aided by 10-15 mile per hour winds out of the west.

The fire is spotting ahead of itself – ten structures under immediate threat.

The Red Cross of the Central Valley has opened a Temporary Evacuation Point at New Life Christian Fellowship (5089 Cole Rd, Mariposa, CA 95338) for residents affected by the River Fire in Mariposa, CA. Red Cross volunteers will be on site providing safe shelter, meals, water and health services. With extremely hot weather, safety for all residents and volunteers is our number one priority.

Madera Sheriff’s Office – An Evacuation Order has been issued for INDIAN PEAK/ROAD 800, LELAND GULCH TO ROAD 600 due to FIRE. There is an immediate threat to life. This is an evacuation order to leave now. The area is being closed to public access. Take action immediately. If you’re in need of evacuation assistance, call 9 1 1. An evacuation shelter is to be determined.

Mariposa Sheriff’s Office – An evacuation Order has been issued for Indian Peak Rd from the Madera County Line to Usona Rd Intersection. Please use Usona Rd or Indian Peak Rd to Hwy 49 to Exit the area. The temporary evacuation point has been established at new life Christian on Cole Road.  Please use Usona Rd or Indian Peak to Hwy 49 to exit the area. The temporary evacuation point has been established at new life Christian on Cole Road.


Multiple air recourses on scene with  “life hazard, no divert” on 2 tankers per air attack.
