Delays Expected On State Route 49

MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will
perform various operations on State Routes 49, 132, and 140 next week in Mariposa
County.
Route 49
• One-way traffic control from Boyer Road to the West Fork Chowchilla River for
utility work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Route 132
• One-way traffic control from the Stanislaus Tuolumne County Line to State Route
49, Coulterville, for tree work beginning Monday, February 28, through Friday
March 4, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Route 140
• One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to Coakley Circle for electrical
work beginning Monday, February 28, through Friday, March 4, 2022, from 8:00
p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever
possible. This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic
incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related
issues.
